The Cyrusher Sonder Lite Folding Electric Bike is a lightweight, compact e-bike designed for commuting, leisure riding, travel and everyday use. Weighing just 19.8kg, it folds down for easier storage and transport, making it a great choice for motorhomes, caravans, commuting or anyone short on storage space.
A 250W brushless rear hub motor combined with a torque sensor delivers smooth, natural-feeling assistance that responds to how hard you pedal. The 36V 10Ah battery provides a range of up to 40 miles, while Shimano 7-speed gearing and hydraulic disc brakes give you excellent control.
Practical touches include an integrated rear rack, front and rear LED lights, a colour display and compatibility with Brompton-style front carriers. The Sonder Lite combines the convenience of a folding electric bike with a remarkably low weight and everything you need for comfortable everyday riding.

E-Bikes and the Law
Are your e-bikes road legal in the UK? Yes. All of our e-bikes meet the UK EAPC (Electrically Assisted Pedal Cycle) regulations:
Maximum motor output: 250W
Motor assistance cuts out at 15.5 mph (25 km/h)
Must be pedalled to engage motor assistance (with throttles restricted to walking speed without pedalling)
What is the minimum legal age to ride an e-bike? You must be at least 14 years old to ride an EAPC on UK roads.
Where can I ride an e-bike? You can ride anywhere a normal bicycle is permitted, including roads, cycle paths, and shared-use trails. You cannot ride on pavements unless marked as cycle routes.
What about privately-owned e-scooters? Currently, privately-owned e-scooters are not legal on public roads, pavements, or cycle lanes in the UK. They can only be used on private land with the landowner’s permission.
Orders, Delivery & Returns
How long does delivery take? Delivery typically takes between 3–7 working days, depending on stock levels and your location. We’ll provide tracking once your order has shipped.
Do you charge for delivery? Most orders qualify for free UK mainland delivery. Some remote areas or special items may incur a small charge (details at checkout).
Can I return my order? Yes. We offer a 14-day return window for unused items in their original packaging. Please see our Returns Policy for full details.
What if my bike arrives damaged or faulty? Contact us immediately with photos of the issue. We’ll arrange repair, replacement, or refund in line with our warranty and returns policy.
Warranty & Support
Generally, bikes come with a 1 year warranty which covers all the major parts. But not consumables such as tyres. But please see each bike for more details.
Batteries & Charging
How far can I ride on a single charge? Range depends on the model, terrain, rider weight, and assist level. Most e-bikes in our range cover 25–60 miles per charge.
How long does charging take? Charging usually takes 4–6 hours with the supplied charger.
Can I replace the battery? Yes. All of our e-bikes use removable lithium-ion batteries that can be swapped or upgraded.
Maintenance & Repairs
Do I need to service my e-bike? Yes. Just like a regular bike, you should service it regularly to keep it safe and efficient. We recommend:
Basic check-up after 150 miles
Annual service for regular riders
Can I get my bike repaired at a local shop? Most bike shops can handle e-bike servicing. For electrical issues, it’s best to use an authorised service partner.
Payments & Finance
What payment methods do you accept? We accept major credit/debit cards, PayPal, and Klarna/finance options (where available).
Do you offer finance? Yes. You can spread the cost of your e-bike with monthly instalments. See checkout for details.
Other Questions
Do I need insurance or a licence for an e-bike? No. EAPCs do not require insurance, tax, or a driving licence in the UK.
Do I need to wear a helmet? Not legally, but we strongly recommend wearing a helmet and protective gear for your safety.
Can I test ride a bike before buying? Please contact us to see if we can arrange a demo or advise on local dealers/trails.

UK Road Legality
Note: Bikes with more than 250 watts power are NOT road legal in the UK. Please read the legal notice below and check the model you are ordering.
This eBike has a motor output exceeding 250w and speed assistance exceeding 15.5mph. This eBike cannot be used on UK public roads without first obtaining type approval, insurance, tax, displaying a number plate and undergoing an MOT. In the UK, only eBikes that comply with EAPC Regulations can be used on UK public roads without tax, insurance or registration. You can find out more about EAPC Regulations here: https://www.gov.uk/electric-bike-rules. If you purchase this eBike, it can only be used off-road on private land unless you obtain type approval, insurance, tax, display a number plate and an MOT. For the avoidance of doubt, you will be responsible for obtaining such type approval, insurance, tax, registration and MOT. Shipping & Returns
You may return most new, unopened items within 30 days of delivery for a full refund. We'll also pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.).
You should expect to receive your refund within four weeks of giving your package to the return shipper, however, in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly. This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (5 to 10 business days), the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (3 to 5 business days), and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (5 to 10 business days).If you need to return an item, simply login to your account, view the order using the 'Complete Orders' link under the My Account menu and click the Return Item(s) button.
